Privacy notice
We collect very little. There is no account to create and nothing to book here, so most of what follows is about analytics you can decline.
Who the controller is
Try Quantum OÜ, an Estonian company (registration 14036846), at Sepapaja 6, Tallinn 15551, Estonia. For anything about your data, write to privacy@carrentalpriceindex.com.
What we collect
Analytics about how the site is used — pages viewed, which controls are used, and technical information your browser sends such as approximate location, device and browser type. If you write to us, we keep that correspondence. We do not ask for a name or an address, and there is no account.
Analytics, and your choice
Analytics only run if you accept them in the banner shown on your first visit, and nothing is measured before you answer. Decline and the site works exactly the same. We use PostHog and Google Analytics for this, and your choice is stored on your own device so we can remember it.
When you check a price
A price check sends your dates, driver age and the airport to our booking partner so they can quote. It is sent to get you a price, not to build a profile, and we do not attach it to you. Once you follow a link to book, their privacy notice applies to what happens next.
Why we may process it
Your consent, for analytics and any marketing. Our legitimate interest in keeping the site working, understanding which parts of it are used, and preventing abuse. And legal obligations where they apply.
Who else sees it
Our analytics providers and hosting providers, as processors acting on our instructions, and anyone we are legally required to disclose to. We do not sell personal data. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, it is done under an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Analytics for two years, then it is deleted or anonymised. Correspondence for as long as needed to deal with it and to meet any legal obligation.
Your rights
You can withdraw consent at any time, and ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or to object to processing. Write to privacy@carrentalpriceindex.com and we aim to answer within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate.
Changes
If this notice changes we post the new version here with its date. Significant changes are flagged on the site.
